Event Announcement
On May 10th, we will be holding a calligraphy and cuisine event called "Yohaku (Blank)” at the Kayabuki Cottage.
This is a time to step away from the everyday and find space in your mind and body through calligraphy and food.
We also recommend a visit to Togakushi Shrine Hokosha before or after the event (5 minutes walk).
We look forward to seeing you in Togakushi amidst the fresh greenery.

We will focus on the "永字八法", which has been used since ancient times as a method of teaching calligraphy.
We will prepare dishes made with Togakushi spring water and local seasonal ingredients, which are gentle on your mind and body.
Suzuri Katagiri
Based in Tokyo and Nagano, she works as a calligrapher and model. She conveys the joy of calligraphy to a wide range of people.

Yuki Fujimoto (awai Togakushi)
After honing his skills at a Michelin-starred French restaurants in Tokyo and France, he moved to Nagano. He specializes in vegetable dishes.
